I don't understand most men who go to war. In the past, soldiers used to grape the losers' women and take their stuff.
But now modern soldiers get absolutely nothing. In fact, if you die, your foid relatives who didn't fight get money as compensation. There is no foids anywhere as they already fled and are banging chad far away. So it's just men, there is nothing to win.
And in democracies the reduction of men through war means that if you come back alive, you will actually now have less power than women as there are less men than women. So you will come back home and foids will literally rule the country.

So why the fuck are there any soldiers who want to fight in modern wars like ukraine? I don't get it. For what?

Those are all excellent points and I suppose I never actually thought about it that way. The evolution of warfare has been modulated both by technological advancements which have rendered the fighting less physical, proximate and interpersonal as well as by developments in international law, mostly as a consequence of how the glorious Third Reich conducted its offensive operations during the Second World War. Of course, the allies also engaged in egregious war crimes, the fire bombings of Dresden, Hamburg and Tokyo for instance and the military application of nuclear weapons. I think the general impetus has been to try and make war fighting less horrific than it had been 70 or100 or 2000 years ago, which, in some ways, it is. As you say though, the more we render the process of fighting copasetic and try to sanitize something that is intrinsically full of violence, pain and suffering, the more we dispossess the experience of the sorts of values which have incentivized men since time immemorial.

That is a good point, but they do have a choice when there is no war. And they aren't very outraged about being slaves for the foitocracy.
