Red area, definitely immoral scam.
- Open patreon, promise you do something. Do not deliver, but still collect the money. False statement with intent to deceive can be constructed as a fraud. Patreon involve implicit contracts so if you payed in exchange of rewards and contents and that was not delivered, you can rightfully call it fraud.
- Open onlyfans. Then you deceive your audience, for example you promise they will get to talk to a cool girl. Instead you use AI or you use slaves in turkey to reply to people. This can be constructed as another fraud. Im pretty sure is illegal in the EU, no idea in america. But if itsnt illegal it should be and I can clearly see this is scam-tier.
- Fake live interactions. If you say you are "live streaming" but you arent, and youre automating pre-recorded things, then I say is fraud. This can be prosecuted if we demonstrate it was deceptive. If someone states it you get to watch pre-recorded things then its not fraud.
- Impersonating, selling free content created by others. Pornhub is protecting people from this, they ask you the creator to demonstrate you are real and if you do porn animation, you will demonstrate it with your source files. But their system isnt perfect, I did see people robbing contents created by others, making millions of views.
Grey area. It means things that are legal, or pseudolegal or legal in some places not others, or simply are distasteful immoral but still "legal".
- AI content recycling. Deepfake derivatives. Its not illegal, and you can use AI to remix or regenerate slightly modified contents without any permission from original creators.
- You can thieve ideas of others, copy formats, be lazy and reinterpret common bullshit. You can thieve characters, you can do this. It is still distasteful and kinda annoying.
- Lazy monetization is legal. Post low effort bullshit, high price for 1 pic, or sell collections of pics. Its totally legal, its just distasteful and ugly.
- You can inflate your persona, you can claim you do this and that, and maybe all you do is use vroid and slide parameters and mod slightly some bullshit pipeline. Its distasteful, but legal.
- Cross platform content hoarding: you can do it. Collect clips, monetize them with minimal transformation.
- Create multiple accounts and create fake engagement buying interactions. You can legally do it.
Now the last tier, its just things I find distasteful. Theyre perfectly legal, theres "nothing wrong" on paper. I still hate it.
- Use Daz studio.
- Use "known adobe pipelines" mass produce the same output
- monetize first, care about porn later
- dont grow your skills.
- Asset flip with daz studio or equivalent BS
None of this is "illegal" its just that I find it detestable.
Im not a lawborn, i just googled around to understand what the law considers legit fraud, what is grey area. I will say, we porn people often blame externalities, but theres a lot in our community that needs fixing, lots of scams are happening. Feminism sure thing is a problem. But the scammers and thieves cause us more problem than feminism does.
Scam in porn. (my opinion)

yeah actual porn is less of a scam, and prior to onlyfans there was zero scam almost.
I merely felt to write all the scams I found. Just to collect them, because we porn users complain about endless problems. I wanted to have all problems in 1 single place.

stop watching porn. or at least watch it less. if you're watching porn often enough to call yourself a porn user comfortably you're watching it too muchSustacel250 wrote: 31 Mar 2026, 12:45yeah actual porn is less of a scam, and prior to onlyfans there was zero scam almost.
