I disagree. But is true the jooz got a myth of the androgyne. Also true the myth can have an influence in how someone approaches trans issues, so if you dig enough you totally can find ideologically aligned scientists who tried the tranny science motivated by myth.

However, is also true that some scientists and counselors were motivated by marxism, with the dream of destabilizing gender relations, so that people would see a new way of forming couples destabilizing the broad narratives in a society.
