Yes its the enemy inside of a jewish narrative. its a guy that they say is "the bad guy". Its a guy thats supposed to test jews, which is seen as a good thing.

Its related to principles of redemption, the concept of scapegoating and role-switching typical in kabbalah. Someone can switch role very often. For instance jewsus first is accuser then advocate.

The accuser becomes advocate. Severity becomes mercy. Exile becomes redemption. Descent = ascent. Darkness = light.

You see it also in the movie matrix, is quite clear.

Matrix 1: neo = messiah son of david, morpheus = messiah son of josef (jesus), trinity = shekinah, agent smith = samael.
Matrix 2: zion has to be destroyed 5 times so that the 6th can fulfill the prophecy, machines are shown to be agents of the prophecy installing the script into peoples of zion. Matrix 2 reveals the cycle.

Simple as. Its a long diatribe pertaining to the process that reconciliates opposites, which is why roles such as satan are switching sidde all the time.

Whats this is: a jewish story, that you tell to people in parts, and its told to each person 1 piece of the story. Imagine brad pitt, he cant be bothered to learn the lore of a movie and he just reads his part on a script, goes on stage acts his role goes home. Thats this situation but in real life. you can be taught "satan is the bad guy", and you act your role, you go home.

one key thing to consider.

Jews dont believe in god like you do. They dont literally think "oh, satan is real" or "god exists", they dont see it that way.

They think humans invent god or gods. And these gods are characters made to serve the jew. So all these gods like samael, and shekinah and yaweh, theyre all used by rebbe experts to create intricate pro-jew narratives. Yaweh at first is useful for them, bcause can make them destroy egypt. Once is done, the jews find themselves in a feudal contract with yaweh, so now they hate yaweh and wish to be free from him. So they use king david to replace yaweh with a king. Once they get tired of king david too, they rid of him as well, and this continues.

bcause they believe humans invent gods, humans invent ideology too. Jews dont believe ideology gives us a mandate, they dont believe god creates us. They believe the reverse, that humans invent these things.

Instead goycattle believe the opposite. Goycattle believes we are to serve ideology or god. We dont invent ideology, we receive a mandate from it, and our very existence is justified with ideology, like communism for example is supposed to tell us why we exist and what makes us valid and so on. We are supposed to believe god or gods invented us, and god or gods gave us a mandate to "do something". Such is the weakness we have. Jews instead are in a better position becase they dont have to "believe" like your me, they can have agency.
