I didn't study physiscs so i'm not sure if this can happen.
But having glasses myself, i fear that if i get punched in the face the glass could shatter and blind my eye.
This is why i developed a tecnique to take off my glasses quickly with only one hand, while the other hand can reach for a weapon i might carry.
My glasses have became loose but i keep them that way because i can take them off quickly.
Just know that if the other guy sees you taking your glasses off, it might be a sign that you are ready/want to throw hands.
