Tried approaching super-horrible woman, she became a nun instead

I posted this as a comment to a post on .is:
https://incels.is/threads/girl-told-me- ... t-14374967.
It's happened to me and probably everyone else on here.
I tried talking to the daughter of a colleague who I had known for some years. I introduced myself, and tried to talk about various things. I spaced my emails about a week apart and tried to find something to talk about. She responded initially, but it trailed off.
The end result? She got SUPER ANGRY (because of course she did). How DARE I try to talk to her. I'm convinced that she acted that way because I wasn't attractive. I did everything right. I had confidence. I made the effort. I had something interesting to talk about. And I still failed. One thing she said was "I don't know you". Well of course dipshit, I'm sure that at one time, your mother didn't know your father, but she met him and liked him. Pretty sure that's how every couple started.
This was 8 years ago and I have never mounted a serious effort to find a GF again.
One more detail I didn't mention on .is: she apparently became a nun (no, really) and was planning to do so even when I was talking to her. It would have helped if she told me earlier that she made the decision to do so.
