Men and memories

I was watching blade runner 2049 and there was a scene in it about how the memories for replicants are created . Here replicants are implanted childhood memories. I have attached the video

Here is what they talk about
man : they say you are the best memory maker there is

woman : Then they are kind

man : why are you so good ? what makes your memory so authentic ?

woman : well there is a bit of every artist in every work . I think it's only kind, replicants live such hard lives made to do but we'd rather not . I can't help your future but I can give you good memories to think back on and smile

man : it's nice

woman : it's better than nice , it feels authentic and if you have authentic memories you'll have
real human responses , wouldn't you agree

man : are they all constructed or do you ever use one's that are real .

woman : it's illegal to use real memories officer

man : how can you tell the difference ? can you tell if something really happened

woman : they all think it's about more detail but that's not how memory works . you recall with your feelings. Anything real should be a mess .

Watching this made me remember saint elliot and his childhood. We men don't share anything which makes others perceive we are weak but the saint sacrificing himself for the cause gave us his life for reference.

In his biography he said childhood was the best of my life and after puberty my life went downhill. I remember he saying how his mother helped him create memories and hence remembering his childhood makes him feel authentic and in the end he sacrificed himself to fight the evil.

Be it garbage collectors, coal miners, oil rig workers , linemen , security guards and so on these are all dangerous jobs but these workers and all men in their childhood have constructed memories which are basically illusion telling us all are equal , you can become an astronaut, you can do whatever you want.

These are essentially deceiving us from the reality that we are just consumable third class citizens in a society build by third class citizens. It's illegal to use real memories in essence itself is telling you cannot say truth to a child . Like if I say to a short ugly boy that he will never have a gf or will be virgin because of his genes then even though I am saying truth society will tell that I am lying or even get me arrested.

The conclusion is that all our childhood is basically implanted memories and its better to just ignore it and focus on our present .

after reading i agree with you about memories, i almost got scared as i was thinking about it...
also bladerunner is very based movie
