Playing GTA San Andreas on my android phone sucks

For two reasons 1 the touch controls are terrible I wish I had a controller. And number 2 I have to set the graphics down or else my shitty android phone will lag to the point that the game becomes unplayable.

I tested my game on android and Im not expert in mobile optimization I just spammed the same character doing an animation (a leg kick) repeatedly, and multiplied it 400 times in a grid, so I got 400 of these characters. Got 28fps on a 2020 android chinaphone.
Got 58 fps avg with 4000 of these characters if I used vertex animation instead of skeletal animation.
So I dont know why android always has shitty laggy crap game performance, it seems Ok to me. No idea. Probably there is a reason, I just dont know.
