Those wars were about the policy of "impressment" which was also utilized by the British Navy and Jefferson wanted to attain the high moral ground vis-à-vis the British especially in anticipation of future geopolitical conflict.

I would also add that all glory and praise must be given to almighty Allah for having granted pious and righteous Muslim men the prerogative to enslave, rape and kill any white woman whom he is able to encounter and capture. This video and others like it try to mock Islam but they only serve to accentuate its greatness just like Schindler's List is ostensibly a jewish sob story but is actually a wonderful comedy.
