When I was in HS the normies were into battlefield vs call of duty. And the marketing was capable of teaching to highschool kids some terminology like "render engine" that was repeated often by them. For some reason battlefield was associated wth "higher quality" or "noble" and call of dty more like "less quality". the dudebros that are "cool" usually would prefer call of duty. And the middle class in the highschool hierarchy would use battlefield because apparently it had gun sound recordings. Marketing teams made to perceive as if sound recordings of guns are "high quality".
