I think as a society we are sacrificing 30 or 40% of our population and the youth, in the pursuit of the understanding and handling of the normie plebeian masses. This sacrifice is costing us more than what russia was spending in Ukraine war and ukraine combined with all the wasted money and covid combined together.

We need "political science" to understand voting behavior, party systems, political psychology (an entire field), public opinion meters and measures (requires experts and teams of people), comparative political systems (university level, highly useful). We need personnel like researchers and graduate student slaves who work for free, surveys like delphi method in highschool.
Then we need to politicize sociology, most our universities are politicized. We need persuasion and motivation studies, understand incentives (economy), biases, group conformity. Cognitive scientists are high in demand and experimental psychologists always get hired when they have new ideas.
Since youtuber social caste is so important we need studies on media effects, journalism courses solely focused on "new media", communication researchers and media theorists and people into semiotics.
Obviously this makes us also sacrifice highIQ STEM people who are often at the periphery of this great hell but they create the digital systems that this propaganda runs on. So what happens is in sociology they define the language and the STEM-Cels will create or handle systems to make it functional.

There are firms that are employed by governments and do national surveys, long term trend studies (used to predict next outcomes), attitude tracking and they usually hire data scientists (which is why you get so many udemy courses in programming about it), and political analysts.

There are also political advisory offices where they researchon implication of voter preferences, policy forecasting is a thing, they study communication strategy advice and hire economists that get titles focused on communication, especially in environment related fields.

Obviously, the "political campaign" machine runs similar lik it was in the past. So it needs campaign manager, communication director and field director and this didnt change. What changes is they probably hire more people to do analytics, and coordinate messaging, events voter corruption and handle mafia operations to boost artificially the votes.

Data scientists and polling analysts will almost surely run predictive models because they want to kill themselves and they cant predict much. Ad buyers will probably matter more than the predictions they do. In this hell of a system there is also to consider the donor class, and the corporate influence. There is stuff about brand perception and consumer psychology, so there will be market researchers with their copywriters armies (this is why andrew tate sells you the copywriter course, they want to enlist you in the army) that are like footsoldiers in this giant machine effort.

Tech companies have a great power but payed at a great cost. They have control of a big portion of the tools used by this beast system, so they can influence the normies on their own and piss off politicians. I think the times of "the think tank" are almost done, the current system cannot be understood period.

People say we should organize a think tank for this or that. I dont think it makes any sense right now.
