The 2006 transatlantic aircraft plot

This plot is yet another example of the cleverness and sharpness of the mujahideen. It also highlights their commitment, steadfast determination and discipline towards achieving a specific goal. While the plot was discovered and foiled by British authorities it has a long lasting legacy that many are not aware of.

For those of us who have traveled by air anywhere there have been global restrictions in effect since 2006 prohibiting anyone boarding an aircraft from not brining any liquids on board. But most people don't know the reasoning behind it. The reasoning is this plot whereby twelve commercial airliners from England to North America were the intended target of a plot by which a group of individuals would detonate explosives on board Aircraft that were on route from Great Britain to North America. These explosives would be disguised in soft drink bottles and made to look as a beverage from the outside. They would intend to be detonated from inside the bathroom of the aircraft while it was in motion.

This plot also highlights the exceptional smartness and sharpness of the British government as I have said before the leaders of Great Britain are exceptionally smart in every dimension conceivable.
