I went to the job interview I had

I decided to go to the job interview today and it went fine. Though I am not sure if I got the job or not. Employers use the identical verbiage so you can tell whether or not they want to hire you based on certain terminology but sometimes this assumption is inaccurate. The manager here seemed to be LGBTQ. He appeared to be a friendly guy as a lot of gay men are but there is no telling whether he will hire me.

Exactly! I have a Bachelor's degree in History and I can't find a job in the field. I found out much later on this was a field that is rather extinct for the most part. I found out when it was too late.

i failed almost 10 interviews and went door-to-door to almost 50 places but got turned down.

It's over but I'll give up when i get to 109 places, then i'll know it's me that's the problem.

That is a good way to plan and analyze.

I am in a similar situation as I get turned down almost everywhere I go but I don't set limits for myself I just keep on trying until I get hired somewhere and I see how long I can last before I start the job hunt all over again.

I had no idea that you had studied history. I actually had considered taking a PhD in history at one point, had applied to about a dozen programs and had even submitted a paper for publication in a peer review journal to enhance my academic bona fides. When I was still working as a lecturer at university I taught several survey courses on Western Civ and US history alongside the Constitutional Law course and intro to law that I also taught. The only way you can ever hope to make the study of history a viable career option is if you earn a PhD from a very elite institution and are able to either leverage your contacts on your dissertation committee or whatever DEI qualities you may have to then secure tenured employment.

I told you this before but you probably forgot. I wanted to get a PhD in history at one point and become a college professor but I realized too late that I didn't have what it took to do that. too much studying and effort for someone who generally does not have the best experiences in the world of school and academia.

My specialty is interaction between the West and the Middle East. I did my senior thesis on us drone strikes in the Middle East

I am more of a generalist when it comes to the discipline of history though I have intensely studied and researched on the topics of Modern Germany and Classical civilizations (Greece and Rome). Having a mastery of historical events is a prerequisite to serving as an officer of the IPF since it enables one to contextualize our own liberation struggle and to draw both inspiration and insights from other great revolutionary movements thereby informing our decisions with maximal wisdom.

You must be familiar with guriella war fare and the minutemen from the battle of bunker hill and lets not forget Samuel Adams and the sons of liberty.

Lets not forget ho chi mix who repelled the U.S forces from Vietnam using the same tactics George Washington used to drive out the British from the 13 colonies.
