I tried calf machine I loaded 100kg, no problem. I didnt train calves and I dont want to train them because I dont want them bigger than they are now. I dont even want to imagine what they could be if I trained them, but as for they are now my calves are big, full and long.
Its a genetic aberration that also ashamed my dad. Bcause in my dad age, it was more aesthetic to have thinner lower body and bigger upper body, but he got the huge calves. It also looks bad on women. Imagine your a woman but you have to hide your legs all the time... what a downside.
Its only after bodybuilding started to become popular, people started to pay lots of attention to the lower portion of the body. People like tom platz also trained their legs insanely.
Lots of bodybuilders started to realize their genetic did not let them grow the calves for some reason, so they injected synthol bcause theres no way to train a muscle beyond its natural shape. If you got a short muscle you cant magically extend it. The only cope left is synthol. So this created a condition where people started to pay attention to calves.
So after BB took place I started to acquire some confidence about my oversized calves. Gym instructor also told me is fine if I never do leg day. its completely pointless. I also hate it, I hate to have sore legs. I have to go in the forest, I have to catch some wood. If I have done leg day, I will be hurt all day long and its pointles because it is a training that is contrary to what I have to do.
I need to do long walks, I dont have to lift enormous weight. I simply have to carry my own weight for long periods. So training legs is useless.
Instead I do train a bit for archery, I think is useful because it allows me to focus on muscles I do not normally activate consciously.
TLDR: I skip leg day. Unless a doctor tells me is necessary for some medical reason, I will never do it. I want a doctor, not a gym rat who uses some invented BB related reason. So unless it pops up some medical reason leg day will never be done.
I am allowed to skip leg day
